R408--Actuarial Support Services - Bridge Contract Extension

The Department of Veterans Affairs Strategic Acquisition Center has awarded a sole-source bridge contract extension to Milliman, Inc. for critical actuarial support services under solicitation 36C10G25C0006. This action is justified under 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(2) and FAR 6.103-2 due to unusual and compelling urgency, as a lapse in services would disrupt the VA medical care budget, strategic planning, and Congressional budget submissions.
