The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to implement primary health care and essential health services at all stages of an offender’s sentence consistent with our relevant policies and legislation: Objectives: The Correctional Service Canada must deliver Radiological Services to male offenders residing within Federal Institutions in the Ontario Region. These professional services must be delivered by a registered Medical Doctor in the Province of Ontario,. The MD must be licensed to practice in the Province of Ontario with the respective governing body for these professional services, the Ontario Radiology Association. Deliverables: The radiologist must read, interpret and complete reports for X-rays and Ultra sounds for the sites identified in the contract. The Contractor must provide a qualified radiologist who is in good standing and registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. The contractor provides coverage, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, as required from 0800 to 1700 hours, although most services will occur Monday through Friday. Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none. Estimated quantity of commodity: see solicitation document statement of work and basis of payment. Duration of Contract and Time Frame for Delivery: Period of the Contract: The Work is to be performed during the period of October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2025. with the option to renew for three (3) additional one (1) year periods.
