Amendment 1: The purpose of Amendment 1 to the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation posted on 4 August 2021 is to extend the RFQ closing date and time to 1:00 PM Eastern Time (ET) on 23 August 2021; change the ordering period to on or around 1 September 2021 through 31 August 2026; and provide the following updated attachments: Combined Synopsis_Solicitation - Railcar Maintenance, Attachment 1 - Performance Work Statement (PWS) - Railcar Maintenance, Attachment 2 - Price List, and Attachment 4 - Blanket Purchase Agreement Specifications. All changes within the attachments are highlighted in blue. This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition (FAR) Subpart 12.6 (reference https://www.acquisition.gov/) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Requirement: The U.S. Army Transportation School, Fort Lee, Virginia, requires Railcar Maintenance Services for two (2) 60-foot wooden bed railcars and one (1) 89-foot metal bed railcar.
