Agency: Department of the Air Force Office: Real Property Office, 366 Civil Engineer Division Location: Mountain Home AFB, ID, 83648 Notice Type: Special Notice Synopsis: This notice requests submission of Proposed Usage of Railroad Tracks from interested parties. Notice of Availability: Mountain Home AFB (MHAFB), ID wishes to establish a lease for 11 +/- miles of railroad track from MHAFB to Mountain Home, ID (Attachment 1). Summary of the outgrant terms and conditions: Lease period will be for a term of five (5) years. Cost of lease property will be at a minimum equal to fair market value. Grantee must be able to meet all conditions in the attached lease template (Attachment 2) and Statement of Work (Attachment 3). Lease will be at no cost to the United States Air Force. Grantee will be responsible for all administrative costs associated with the lease. Grantee will accept the tracks in as-is condition and be responsible for all repairs and maintenance for the duration of the lease and any extensions. All repairs must be performed in accordance with industry standards and in addition meet any requirements levied by the Idaho State Historical Preservation Office.
