RANCHO FONTANA SPECIFIC PLAN #1, EIR 81-6

The City of Fontana is overseeing a project to amend the Rancho Fontana Specific Plan to facilitate the subdivision of approximately 3.3 acres for the development of the Baseline Townhomes - Citrus Walk. The project involves the site and architectural approval for the construction of 54 attached condominium dwellings along with all associated infrastructure and site improvements. Located in San Bernardino County, the development site is situated south of Baseline Avenue, west of Lime Avenue, and east of Orlando Drive. The project is managed by the City of Fontana, with NewBridge Homes serving as the project applicant. Compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) is a primary requirement, which has been addressed through the preparation of an Addendum to a certified Environmental Impact Report, the adoption of mitigation measures, and the implementation of a Mitigation Monitoring or Reporting Plan. Administrative oversight is provided by the City of Fontana Planning Department, and the project has received planning approval as of July 21, 2025.
