Full Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL-- In pursuant to FAR 5.203(a), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD), on behalf of the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel & Readiness (OUSD/P&R), Force Education and Training (FE&T), intends to award a Firm Fixed Price bridge contract on a sole source basis to Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH) Inc., 8283 Greensboro Drive, McLean, VA 22102-3830. The current contract no. #N00189-14-D-Z014 will end on June 15, 2019. The anticipated period of performance is for one (1) six-months period. The anticipated award will be made under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 8.405.6(B)-Limited Sources: "Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized." The contract is intended to meet Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel & Readiness (OUSD/P&R), Force Education and Training's (FE&T) requirement for continued research, analysis, and administrative support activities to enable OSD congressional reporting efforts, range information enterprise integration, and overall range sustainment comprehensive planning in order to rebuild military readiness by improving training capabilities to prepare for conflict with a strategic competitor. Currently, these services are going through a competitive acquisition with an anticipated award in Fiscal Year 20 (FY 20).
