AI Contract Overview
The 580th Software Engineering Squadron at Robins AFB is seeking to acquire a Rapidia Conflux 1 printer along with all necessary accessories, training, travel, tools, and support services on a sole-source basis, as only Rapidia, the original equipment manufacturer with Cage code L0N00, can meet the specific requirements of the agency. The acquisition is being conducted under RFO 6.103-1, which justifies sole-source procurement due to the uniqueness of the technology and the absence of alternative products that would satisfy the government’s needs. The solicitation number is FA857926Q0027_Rapidia_Conflux_1, posted on July 7, 2026, with responses due by July 22, 2026. The North American Industry Classification System code is 333248, indicating it falls under machine shop, tool die, and mold making. The work will be performed at Warner Robins, Georgia, with oversight from the Department of Defense’s Software Support Air Force Squad at Robins AFB. All inquiries and communications should be directed to Adriana Lytle via email at adriana.lytle@us.af.mil. No set-aside provisions are in effect, and the contract is open for award to the sole qualified vendor, Rapidia.
