SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis/RFI. The Government is neither negotiating nor calling for offers at this time. No solicitation is being issued at this time; while a formal solicitation may be issued at a later date, this notice does not commit the government to ultimately award a contract. This announcement is an expression of interest only and does not commit the Government to pay for any response or preparation cost. The Government does not intend to make an award on the basis of this sources sought synopsis. This information will be reviewed and will be used to develop the acquisition strategy and possibly a Request for Quotation. Market Research is being conducted by the 6th Contracting Squadron at MacDill Air Force Base, FL, to seek qualified contractors with the skills, knowledge, and resources required provide the requirement listed below, on behalf of the Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT). Description of Requirement RAW-N Remote View Pro Warfighter Edition Node Locked License. This requirement is for specialized imagery and geospatial analytical software that acts as an integrated fusion for national, command, and tactical imagery by analysts for importing, viewing, analysis, and reporting of national and commercial remote sensing data. Software must be compatible with the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency. This Sources Sought is an advance notice for information and planning purposes only and is not a solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System is 511210 and the size standard is $35.5 Million. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities, and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 11:59 PM EST on 29 August 2013. Such information will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice. Sources shall include in their information, a detailed capabilities statement stating their experience in providing the same or similar items described in this notice, a point of contact with phone and e-mail information, business status (i.e. 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business, etc.), business size based on NAICS 511210, and a positive statement of interest to submit a proposal.
