Re-Solicitation Hoist and Trolley Replacement

The Texas Department of Agriculture is seeking qualified bidders to replace two existing 700-series Shawbox hoists with two new 800-series Shawbox hoists or equivalent models, along with compatible trolleys, at the Giddings Metrology Laboratory in Giddings, Texas. The solicitation, numbered 5510001145, requires a turnkey solution including removal of the old equipment, installation of new units meeting specified technical standards—such as 3-ton capacity, electric wire rope, dual-speed operation, 460V power, and overload protection—as well as full electrical compliance with the National Electrical Code and adherence to OSHA standards. Installation must occur during normal business hours, and the contractor is responsible for all materials, labor, and equipment including cranes and forklifts.
