(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the FAR and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation number 12-236-SOL-00050 applies, and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). (iv) The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611710. The Indian Health Service (IHS), Division of Acquisition Policy intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to Reach Out and Read (ROR) National Center on the basis of other than full and open competition. (v) The Contract Line Item (CLIN) is as shown below: CLIN 0001 (POP: September 27, 2012 ~ Sep 26, 2013) - 1 year ROR Support Services for Indian health Service/Tribal/Urban (I/T/U) health care facilities. Unit: 1 Year - $__________ (vi) The Government intends to negotiate and award an order to ROR, 56 Roland Street, STE 100D, Boston, MA 02129, to obtain ROR provided site based training, technical assistance, and quality improvement for Indian Health Service/Tribal/Urban (I/T/U) health care facilities. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotations. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations however; all responses received within five (5) days from the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.
