Reagents and consumables for Roche immunostainers

The National Institutes of Health, under the Department of Health and Human Services, is issuing a Sources Sought Notice for a Firm-Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide reagents, consumables, and software upgrades for the Laboratory of Pathology at the Cancer Center Research. The required materials must be compatible with four Roche Ventana Medical Systems Benchmark ULTRA immunostainers to support immunohistochemical and in situ hybridization testing for cancer diagnostics and research. The contract is expected to include a base period starting December 1, 2026, and ending November 30, 2027, with four subsequent option periods. Key performance requirements include the delivery of reagents within five days of a task order, with all supplies featuring expiration dates extending more than 12 months beyond the shipping date. Reagents must be shipped overnight using dry ice, wet ice, or other industry best practices to the performance site in Bethesda, Maryland. Additionally, the contractor must provide no-cost software upgrades within one month of release, including technologist training and access to scientists and engineers for consultation. Award will be based on a best value tradeoff for offerors meeting the minimum requirements. Interested small businesses must submit a capability statement of no more than seven pages to Luz Casey by October 28, 2026.
