Rebid: Linear Walking Irrigation System

Louisiana State University has issued Request for Quotation RFQ-0000002894 for a rebid to furnish, install, and commission a new linear, center feed, hose drag, electric drive, multi-tower irrigation system at the LSU AgCenter Red River Research Station in Bossier City, Louisiana. The project requires a 4 span linear centerfeed linear walker and all associated underground piping and risers connecting to a dedicated water well. The system must be self-contained, electrically propelled via pneumatic rubber tires, and powered by an on-board Tier-4 diesel engine generator set. Technical requirements include compliance with ISO 9001, 1994 quality standards, ASABE and ANSI Z535 agricultural standards, and ASTM A123-14 for zinc coatings. The successful bidder must provide a minimum one-year full warranty for parts and labor. The contract will be awarded on an all-or-none basis to the lowest responsible and responsive supplier. Suppliers are required to be registered in the University's Workday procurement system and provide a W-9 or W-8 form. Payment will be issued within 30 days following the receipt of a properly executed invoice or delivery and acceptance, whichever occurs later.
