AI Contract Overview
This contract specifies the procurement of five units of a positive receptacle, identified by NSN 5325-01-598-3837, with a delivery timeframe of 195 days, due by November 27, 2026. The contract places emphasis on compliance with technical and quality requirements referenced in the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, along with packaging and marking standards as per MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129. Inspection and acceptance of the items will occur at the destination, and there is no allowance for quantity variance. Special provisions exclude the need for item unique identification due to a service customer request, and sampling and quality control will follow MIL-STD-1916 or comparable standards, with a zero non-conformance acceptance policy unless otherwise specified. The contract directs delivery and shipment to the DLA Distribution facility at New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, with detailed packaging, marking, and palletization instructions to ensure compliance with government procurement standards. The contractor is required to adhere to specific government regulations covering source approval requests, government identification removal on rejected items, and the use of authorized transportation procedures. The contract originates under solicitation SPE4A5-26-T-124B, managed by the Department of Defense’s ASC Supplier OEM Division, with point of contact Steven Lewis for any queries related to the procurement process.
