RECOVERY 65--Security Carts for PBM

Description: The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Cannon Equipment Company of Cannon Falls, MN for rolling security cart cages for Pharmacy. These cages are part of an existing Pharmaceutical Cache System and are replacements for broken carts and addition carts for new sites. It is critical to have an identical cart because the carts are stocked in a particular way and fitted to each site in a particular manner. NAICS 332322 will be used for this acquisition and the Government believes that Cannon Equipment Company of Cannon Falls, MN is the only manufacture that can satisfy the agency requirements. Therefore, the Government intends to proceed with a sole source procurement for the required supplies and or services. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other vendor will satisfy agency requirements. To the best of our knowledge, Cannon Equipment Company of Cannon Falls, MN is the only source that provides the above indicated items and features. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within six (06) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements.
