This contract involves the General Services Administration's (GSA) Fleet program managing the marshalling and sale of various government-owned vehicles, including light vehicles, sedans, pickups, SUVs, and vans. These services are provided in compliance with Federal Standards 122 and 307, specifically relating to vehicles purchased under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. The contract consists of multiple task orders issued against a set of established Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) firm-fixed-price contracts, collectively totaling over $9.26 million. The purpose is to support the Government's ongoing vehicle requirements by efficiently handling vehicle processing, staging, and auction sales through a network of authorized auto auction providers. The contract outlines specific marshalling and sales volumes at numerous auction locations across the United States, with each facility assigned a contract number and allocated quantities for marshalling and sales activities. Manheim Auctions Government Services, Inc., handles the largest volume, while other auctions such as American Auto Auction, Brasher’s Northwest and Sacramento, Capital City, and several others manage varying vehicle quantities. The place of performance is Arlington, Virginia, and the solicitation was posted in July 2009. This effort aims to promote transparency and accountability, aligning with ARRA requirements. Contact points for the contract include officials from the GSA Office of Acquisition Operations in Washington, DC, providing oversight and coordination.
