Full Description

This serves as notification of a modification to the existing FCC Contract No. PUR07000407, entitled "IT Infrastructure Support Services". This modification is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act). The contractor shall provide non-personal services that will support the following activities required to develop the Broadband Plan: The contractor shall design, test and deploy the IT infrastructure to support the web, data, geospatial and analysis platforms necessary to support the required analysis in developing the Broadband Plan. The contractor shall also design, test and deploy the interfaces necessary to support the development of the broadband map, including the public, policymaker, analyst and guru interfaces. Components of developing the National Broadband Plan include development or purchase of the following: - Broadband Deployment Cost Model - Broadband Spectrum Inventory - Broadband Consumer Survey - Wireless Commercial Data Sets - International Comparisons - Coordination with Stakeholders - IT Upgrades to support initiatives To accomplish the National Broadband Plan support the Contractor shall provide up to 3 full-time contractor positions from date of modification through to September 30, 2010. This modification will be funded with funds from the Recovery Act and the contractor and their first-tier subcontractors will be subject to the requirements of that statute. Performance scoring and metrics are to be included in all hourly, daily, and weekly status reports submitted by Contractor.
