RECOVERY - Rimrock Springs Viewing Platform Replacement

Solicitation Number: AG-0489-S-10-0429 Notice Type: Presolicitation RECOVERY: This is an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) procurement. Inclusion of unique provisions required implementing the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror will be required. The U.S. Forest Service, EROC-NW, servicing Region 6, Ochoco National Forest has a need to replace the wildlife viewing platform at Rimrock Springs. Work includes: demolition and disposal of existing 10'X12 wildlife viewing platform and approach ramp and construction of a new, slightly larger platform. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, tools, material, and equipment necessary to perform all work in accordance with the specification and drawings. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal offers the best value to the Government. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract prior to June 1, 2010. Contractors are required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). This Contract will be set-aside for Emerging Small Business under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The resulting contract shall utilize funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009.
