This contract involves design services for recovery and repair work to the USPO/Courthouse in Galveston, Texas, specifically addressing damages caused by a hurricane. The scope includes relocating all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems previously located in the building's basement to a new adjacent structure that will house essential systems such as the sally port, emergency generator, and fire pump. The contractor is also responsible for designing this new building and replacing damaged building systems with new, energy-efficient solutions. Additionally, the contract requires the development of design plans to restore building finishes damaged or destroyed by the storm, as well as a landscape plan to replace foundation plantings and trees lost due to storm surge. This opportunity is exclusively available to the contractor holding the existing Architect/Engineering IDIQ Contract for Texas Zone III under Contract No. GS-07P-04-HHD-1014.
