Inc., W52H09-08-D-5005-0027 This notice is for the award of a firm fixed price modification to incorporate a change order to repair damage in outlet tunnel #4 to include several scours, construction joints, a vertical crack on the east wall, and 8 holes in the floor of the discharge tunnel due to differing site conditions. Subject project was awarded to Russell Construction Co. Inc. of Davenport, IA on firm fixed price task order W52H09-08-D-5005/0027 on July 15, 2009. The project consists of design, demolition and repair of concrete and structure on the designated area of the old and new sections of the Hydro-Electric Plant/Building 160. The contractor's proposal for this task order was based, in part, on an underwater survey conducted by the Army Corps of Engineers in 2008. During contractor's own underwater investigation, the contractor discovered the damage to the bay 4 outlet tunnel.
