Red Deer County is seeking quotes for the replacement of the sewage holding tank at the Agricultural Services Shop located at 38106 Range Road 275. The project is driven by documented inflow and infiltration issues with the current tank, as well as the need to correct a regulatory violation regarding the minimum separation distance from the site water well. The new design by M.A.P Services ensures the tank is positioned approximately 35 feet from the well, meeting the required standards and maintaining a minimum 3 foot clearance from all marked utilities. This solicitation, identified as RFQ 08/26 under number AB-2026-05729, requires bidders to provide proof of current Private Sewage Installer Certification. The response deadline is September 8, 2026. M•A•P Services has prepared a design to replace the sewage holding tank serving the Red Deer County Agricultural Services Shop at 38106 Range Road 275 (NE 6-38-27-W4), Red Deer County, Alberta. The existing holding tank is located approximately 27.6 ft (8.4 m) from the site water well, inside the 10 m (33 ft.) minimum separation required by SOP 2021 s.3.1.2.1(1)(a), and documented inflow and infiltration at the existing tank is a driver for this replacement. The new tank location shown on the Drawings places the nearest edge of the new tank approximately 35 ft (10.7 m) from the well, outside the required separation, clear of all field-marked utility locates by a minimum of 3 ft (0.9 m).
