Description: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE - THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT'S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO REDBIRD FLIGHT SIMULATIONS TO PROVIDE REDBIRD JAY VELOCITY FLIGHT SIMULATORS TO THE AIR FORCE RECRUITING SERVICES. The Air Force Installation Contracting Center (AFICC) - 338 SCONS, JBSA Randolph, Texas 78150-4302, announces the intent to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Redbird Retail under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1): Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The anticipated delivery date will be 30 days after receipt of award. The anticipated award to Redbird Retail requires 12, R-6102 flight simulators to include controls, displays and rudder pedals with a rugged capability for extensive travel that can be easily moved from location to location. The unit must sit on a desktop without being bound or pinned to the desk and be virtual reality capable.
