NRC Aquatics Crop Resource Development (ACRD) has a requirement for the supply of two (2) refrigerated incubator shakers, which must meet all of the mandatory technical requirements as specified below. The requirement must include all of the following:The requirement is for two (2) identical refrigerated incubated shakers to perform small scale fermentation (culture growth) in a controlled environment, including the platform and sticky pads required for flask use.The shakers must maintain temperature between 15 to 60 degrees Celsius with settings in increments of 0.1 degrees Celsius.The shakers must be a benchtop configuration, with an overall footprint size of no greater than 22Long × 30Wide × 24 inches in Height each;The internal incubator chamber size (working area) needs to be at minimum 20.25Long × 21.5Wide × 14 inches in Height eachThe shakers must to hold Erlenmeyer flasks from 10mL in size to 2.8L;The shakers must have LED display and digital controls;The shakers must have a timer for up to 99.9 hours;The shakers must have a circulating fan;The shakers must include a “sticky” platform/matt to hold culture flasks stable while shaking (glass or plastic flasks) without the use of clamps;The sticky pads must reside on top of the shaker;The units must have a brushless motor.The shakers must have a shaking speed range of 50 to 400rpm, with an orbit of 19mm.The shakers must have an audible and visual alarm for temperatures falling outside of the pre-set configurationsThe alarm must be triggered if the temperature drops or increases point by 1 degree Celsius;The alarm must be triggered if speeds falling outside the set point by 5rpm.The shakers needs to be a clear/transparent window viewing window for inspection;The shakers must be ESA compliant (120-240 VAC, 50/60Hz);The units must meet all applicable Canadian Standard Association (CSA) or Underwriters' Laboratories of Canada (ULC) standards.The Contractor must deliver 1 complete set of Documentation, in English with the deliverables. This documentation must include all publications pertaining to technical specifications,The Contractor must provide at minimum a 2 year parts and labor warranty on the shaker incubator.
