Solicitation SPE3SE-27-Q-0050 is a Firm Fixed Price requirement issued by the DLA Troop Support Subsistence FSE Supply Chain for the procurement of one mechanical food refrigerator, identified by NSN 4110-01-505-3687. The item is to be delivered to the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard IMF in Hawaii within 30 days after the date of order. Inspection and acceptance will occur at the destination. The government will award the contract to the responsible offeror whose proposal is most advantageous, considering price and other factors. Technical requirements specify that R134A and R404A are the only approved shipboard refrigerants for food service equipment, and the use of R290A is prohibited on naval vessels. The contract mandates strict adherence to mercury-free standards, with specific exceptions for functional components like batteries or sensors. Packaging must comply with ASTM D3951 and MIL-STD-129 for marking and labeling, while palletization must follow RP001 DLA packaging requirements. All DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements take precedence over ASTM standards. The solicitation incorporates various FAR and DFARS clauses, including the Buy American and Balance of Payments Program, sustainable products requirements, and the use of the Wide Area Workflow system for electronic invoicing. Offerors must submit quotes via the DIBBS portal and provide a realistic delivery schedule. Alternate parts are not accepted for this solicitation.
