THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT - A SOLICITATION IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. This is for the purpose of getting a pool of interested vendors available to meet the needs of the U.S. Forest Service -Northwest Area Interagency Support Cache (NWK). Submission in response to this request is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for costs incurred in response to this request of information. The Deschutes National Forest is seeking multiple businesses interested in entering into a Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) for the servicing of first aid kits stocked by the Northwest Interagency Support Cache (NWK) in Redmond, Oregon for ready delivery to incidents such as large wildfires or other hazardous situations. These items are repeatedly picked up, refurbished and delivered and are subject to packaging requirements, i.e. unit of issue, standard packaging and specifications. Below are examples of First Aid Kits to be refurbished. See attachment for a full list of products required in each first aid kit. Individual First Aid Kit (NSN 6545-00-656-1092) 24-Person First Aid Kit (NSN 6545-00-656-1094) 20-25 Person First Aid Kit (NSN 6545-01-10-7754) 100 person First Aid Kit Interested vendors are encouraged to attend one of the scheduled site visits to see a sample of each first aid kit in person, and address any questions you have with the Cache Manager Eve Ponder. Scheduled site visits are set for the following dates and times: March 5th, 6th, 12th and 13th from 10:00 am - noon and 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm each day. Site visit location is at : Redmond Fire Cache, 1740 SE Ochoco Way, Redmond, OR 97756 If a solicitation is issued, or an offer of contract award is made based on the information provided to the Contracting Office, all suppliers are required to be in compliance with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, and need to be registered in the System for Awards Management (SAM). Instructions regarding the registration process can be found at https://www.sam.gov. It is also required that all suppliers have completed the Representations and Certifications within their SAM record.
