Refuse Truck Body Conversion and Rebuilding Services

The City of Sierra Vista has two heavy duty trucks that require conversion and rebuilding services: 1) One refuse truck with a 2015 Mack MRU 613 with a Front Loader Mantis body. The Mantis body is at the end of its usable life and the City has determined that the most beneficial use would be to repurpose it to a roll-off/tow truck. The City is seeking an experienced heavy duty truck body company to provide a replacement roll-off body for the existing cab and chassis which are in good working condition. The company shall comply with the specifications as described in this RFP to remove the old Mantis body and replace with an appropriate roll-off/tow truck body.2) One 2015 Autocar AZX64 Refuse Truck with a Scorpion Side-Loader Body with a packer assembly in need of rebuild. The City is seeking an experienced heavy duty to provide service to troubleshoot, repair and replace the necessary components to bring the packer assembly into good working condition in accordance with the scope or work specified within this RFP.All labor, workmanship, repairs, parts and services shall be warrantied for a period not less than 1 year from the date of acceptance of the City of Sierra Vista.
