Regulatory Compliance & Siting Element Consultant

The Regulatory Compliance and Siting Element Consultant is a subcontract opportunity with the County of San Mateo Sustainability Department. The selected consultant will perform regulatory assessments for prime contractors, focusing on evaluating procedural pathways for updating Siting Elements and coordinating reviews with local task forces and CalRecycle. A primary requirement for this role is specialized expertise in CalRecycle guidance to ensure all activities align with state mandates. The core objective of the contract is the development and delivery of a comprehensive Compliance Roadmap. This roadmap must ensure adherence to several key legislative frameworks, including AB 939, AB 1826, AB 341, SB 1383, and PRC 41701. Interested parties must submit their responses by October 2, 2026.
