The contract amendment addresses the Invitation for Bids initially published on December 22, 2012, for the rehabilitation of drainage, stormwater, and water supply systems serving internally displaced persons (IDP) settlements in several districts, including Gori, Qareli, Kaspi, and Mtskheta. Notably, it shifts the focus to the rehabilitation of water supply systems in nine villages, under solicitation number USAID-W-ICB-05-1-2012. The amendment specifies updated qualification criteria for bidders, requiring a minimum average annual turnover of GEL 4,800,000 in construction works over the past three years and available liquid assets and/or credit facilities of at least GEL 650,000. Additionally, the deadline for bid submission and opening has been firmly set to March 5, 2013, at 16:00 hours, with bids to be delivered and opened at the designated address in Tbilisi in the presence of bidders' representatives and interested parties. The amendment emphasizes that all other terms and provisions from the original Invitation for Bids remain unchanged. The contracting agency is USAID's Caucasus office in Georgia, with contact points including the MDF Executive Director and Project Manager. This amendment ensures clarity on bidding qualifications and deadlines for contractors interested in supporting infrastructure improvements for IDP settlements in Georgia.
