Materials for the new racking system may be delivered and temporarily stored on-site until the contractor is ready to install them.
***Insurance Requirements. Contractors must be able to provide the insurance requirements noted in the Sample Contract and Exhibits document, Exhibit B: Insurance Requirements.***
For the full project scope of work, please carefully read Exhibit C of the Sample Contract and Exhibits document.
An on-site pre-proposal meeting is optional but strongly encouraged. Please email Matt Carter at contact@example.gov to schedule a site visit as soon as possible.
During this visit, the Contractor will take measurements of the facility and consider the best way to maximize storage space and consider other elements of the facility that may affect the rack design. This visit will provide an opportunity to inspect the racks that need removal as well as those that may be integrated into the new rack design. The Contractor can then evaluate the types and weights of packages to be stored on the new racking as well as considerations of the buildings and the kinds of equipment the DNR uses for package retrieval.
