This contract, solicitation number SPM7MC10R0049, is for the procurement of 10 Relay Assembly Group units for B-52 Stratofortress Aircraft, identified by NSN 5945-01-469-8041 and part number 659-12647-1. The acquisition is restricted to approved sources under FAR 6.302 and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) because the government lacks complete technical data, specifically naming The Boeing Company as an approved source. The delivery schedule is set for 450 days or sooner with shipping terms established as FOB Origin. The procurement is unrestricted and does not follow commercial item policies, though interested parties were given a window to propose commercial alternatives. While price is a significant factor, the final award decision is based on a combination of price, delivery, and past performance. The small business size standard for this action is 500 employees, and the solicitation was managed through DLA DIBBS.
