AI Contract Overview
The contract specifies the procurement of an electromagnetic relay under NSN 5945-01-288-6245, with a requirement for eight units to be delivered within 14 days from the order date, FOB origin, and no variance in quantity allowed. The item must fully comply with military specification MIL-PRF-83536H(1) Supplement 1 and MIL-PRF-83536/5F, with the latest revision dates effective in 2025 and 2024 respectively, and it is designated as a critical application item. All manufacturing, testing, and cleaning processes are strictly prohibited from using any Class I ozone-depleting substances unless prior written approval is obtained from the contracting officer, and this prohibition overrides any conflicting specification language without exempting performance requirements. The item is listed on a Qualified Products List or Qualified Manufacturers List, and all packaging and labeling must adhere to MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129, including special marking code ZZ for unique requirements and palletization per DLA packaging standards. Each unit package must be marked in accordance with IPC/JEDEC J-STD-609 to identify lead content and other attributes, with proper placement directed by the standard. Delivery is to be made to DLA Distribution Warner Robins at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, with the original required delivery date set for October 4, 2026, though a need ship date of August 4, 2026, is indicated. The contract references the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements for all technical and quality specifications identified by R or I numbers, and applicable revisions are controlled by the solicitation or award date depending on acquisition size. The unit of issue is each, and all documentation, including transportation and freight instructions, must follow DLA procedural notes C19 and C20.
