This contract is for the procurement of 119 electromagnetic relays designated by NSN 5945-01-026-8303 and part number MS27751-5, governed by military specifications MIL-PRF-6106R(1) Sup 1A and MS27751M, with technical and quality requirements sourced from the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements. The product is classified as a critical application item and must strictly comply with prohibitions on intentional mercury content and ozone-depleting substances, except for specific exemptions such as functional mercury in batteries, fluorescent lamps, instruments, sensors, controls, weapon systems, or chemically specified reagents. All mercury-containing portable lamps and instruments must be shockproof and feature a secondary containment barrier per NAVSEA 5100-003D. The use of any class I ODS during design, manufacturing, or testing is prohibited unless prior written approval from the contracting officer is obtained. The item must be marked in accordance with IPC/JEDEC J-STD-609 for lead content identification, and packaging must conform to MIL-STD-2073-1E and DLA’s packaging guidelines, including special marking code ZZ and MIL-STD-129 compliance. Palletization and unit packaging follow specified protocols with E5 primary and intermediate containers and no cushioning material. Delivery is FOB origin with a 556-day lead time, scheduled for February 18, 2028, with no quantity variance permitted. Inspection and acceptance occur at destination, and all shipments must be addressed to DLA Distribution Jacksonville.
