This contract is for the procurement of 51 units of an electromagnetic relay, identified by NSN 5945-01-438-6424 and part number D53TP50D from Sensata Technologies, Inc., designated as a commercial off-the-shelf item. The item must comply with technical and quality requirements referenced from the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, and is subject to specific packaging standards per MIL-STD-2073-1E and marking requirements per MIL-STD-129, including unique lead finish labeling in accordance with IPC/JEDEC J-STD-609 to indicate lead content. The contract prohibits the intentional addition of mercury or mercury compounds to the product, with limited exceptions for specified applications such as batteries, fluorescent lights, and certain sensors or weapon systems, which must include secondary containment if mercury is present. The delivery is FOB origin, with a 168-day delivery window, required by January 19, 2027, and inspection and acceptance occur at the destination.
