This is "not" a request for either a quote or proposal. This announcement is considered market research in accordance with FAR Part 10. NO SOLICITATION IS BEING ISSUED AT THIS TIME. THE DLA LAND AND MARITIME IS ISSUING THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS AS A MEANS OF CONDUCTING MARKET RESEARCH TO IDENTIFY PARTIES HAVING AN INTEREST IN AND THE RESOURCES TO SUPPORT THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: ITEM: Relay, Solid State NSN 5945-01-643-3510 is to be procured in-accordance-with approved source CAGE 59U90, part number J23090200. ABB, Inc. (59U90) is the only current approved source. Once the solicitation is issued, interested sources must submit the appropriate information outlined under L04 Offers for Part Numbered Items (SEP 2016) and M06 Evaluation of Offers for Part Numbered Items (SEP 2016). The Government does not own the data or the rights to the data needed to purchase this part from additional sources. The procurement agency has data adequate for evaluation purposes, but limited rights apply. The offerors need to prove only its data for evaluation. This item must be manufactured in accordance with the limited rights data listed. The Government cannot provide data. Only those vendors who have access to the data should quote. A quantity of 400 each up to 1,000 each may be required and will be shipped to a DLA stocking location. The purpose of this synopsis is to locate sources interested in becoming approved sources and for any additional approved sources. Submission Instructions: Responses to this Request for Information (RFI), along with the attached Market Research Survey, must be sent to Kenneth Planty via email at kenneth.planty@dla.mil by the response date listed in this synopsis and should include in their submission, information on their products/services, company, CAGE code, capability, company size/profile, and any other supportive information.
