The National Research Council Canada (NRC) is seeking proposals for the replacement of relief valves at its ammonia plant located in St. John’s. The solicitation requires that all deliverables be completed and received by March 31, 2026. This procurement is exclusively open to Canadian suppliers due to the Policy on Reciprocal Procurement, which restricts eligibility to suppliers from countries that are trading partners with Canada; offers from non-trading partners will be rejected. The contract will be awarded based on the lowest-priced responsive proposal. Submissions must be sent to the NRC Bid Receiving Unit via email by the deadline of February 3, 2026. Bidders are advised to regularly check the Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS) for any updates, amendments, or responses to enquiries, as NRC will not provide direct notifications. The contracting authority for this solicitation is Max Grohs of the National Research Council Finance and Procurement Services. The NRC adheres to the Integrity Regime governed by Public Services and Procurement Canada, ensuring ethical standards throughout the contracting process. Documents can be submitted in either of Canada’s official languages.
