The Federal Aviation Administration is seeking market information for a renovation project at the Los Angeles Air Route Traffic Control Center in Palmdale, California. The project involves relocating the wall enclosure between the M-1 Room and the Control Operation Room and constructing new offices within the M-1 Room area. Key construction tasks include demolishing and replacing smoke wall enclosures and double doors, extending the raised floor in the Control Room, installing new acoustical ceilings, and updating electrical, lighting, and fire alarm systems. Because the facility maintains continuous 24/7 Air Traffic Control operations, the work must be executed in two distinct phases to prevent mission disruption. The first phase requires the completion of the new relocated wall and electrical work before the existing wall is removed in the second phase, which includes the use of dust partitions. This announcement is a pre-solicitation market survey intended for informational purposes to prepare for an unrestricted open competitive procurement. Interested vendors were required to submit a Business Declaration Form by February 3, 2016.
