Relocation of Verizon Telecomunication Equipment

The proposed contract is for Verizon Telecomunications Services. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source Verizon, for relocation of the American Forces Network Broadcast Center (AFN-BC) Verizon Telecommunications Services currently routed from the Verizon Edgemont Central Office through the former March AFB Communication Center Building 2620 to the American Forces Network Broadcast Center Building 2730. Verizon shall install underground cabling conduit as needed and install and connect new fiber and copper cabling between the Verizon Telecomm Manhole DE located on Riverside Drive and the AFN-BC Building 2730 as necessary. Interested person may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposal. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon Verizon policy and the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
