SEALED BIDS for JOB NO. 2024--1250, RELOCATION OF WAIMEA DEEPWELL HECO TRANSFORMER , District of South Kohala, County of Hawai‘i, State of Hawai‘i, will be received ELECTRONICALLY by the Department of Water Supply, County of Hawai‘i, until November 14 , 2024 , at 1:30 p.m. when they will be publicly opened. Bids received after the time fixed for opening or delivered elsewhere other than specified herein will not be considered. This project generally consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the demolition and removal of the existing chainlink fencing surrounding the existing temporarily install HECO transformer, wooden wireway, and cabling; clearing, grubbing and grading area of work for new transformer pad; construction of new concrete transformer pad and bollards; trenching; conduit and fittings; concrete jacket; cabling; installation of HECO transformer; modifications to existing chainlink fence, and perform all incidental work necessary to complete the project in accordance with the specifications. A Pre-bid meeting shall be scheduled for October 29, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. at the Department of Water Supply’s Waimea Baseyard located at 65-1234 Opelo Road, Kamuela, HI, 96743.
