Site visits are recommended and can be scheduled through the designated contact, Julie Brown, who is the sole point of contact until the contract is awarded. Contractors must bring their own equipment for the site visit. The contract will be awarded to a responsible bidder offering the most advantageous proposal based on cost and other factors such as compliance with mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, schedule adherence, and past performance. A single purchase order will cover all items, which are tied, and the selection process considers both price and qualitative factors. The response deadline is May 16, 2024, and additional details, including the solicitation number and contact information, are available through the Iowa DOT's bidding portal.
