The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Contracting Division (AFLCMC/HNCK) hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b), soliciting from a single source to satisfy agency requirements. The original equipment manufacturer (OEM) is Aerovironment, Inc. (Cage Code: 3SQS9), 900 Innovators Way, Simi Valley, CA 93065. AFLCMC/HNCK intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order for the Repair of Raven-B Components: RAVEN-B DDL ASSY, Airframe, Non-GFE DDL RAVEN, P/N 60629, Qty: 6 RAVEN-B EO Payload, P/N 60292, Qty: 10 RAVEN-B DDL, Hub, P/N 59643, Qty: 2 RAVEN-B DDL, IR DDL Payload Fwd, P/N 51988, Qty: 2 RAVEN-B RF Unit, P/N 60751, Qty: 2 RAVEN-B Side IR, P/N 51981, Qty: 2 RAVEN-B ASSY, Airframe GFE DDL RAVEN, P/N 60163, Qty: 12 RAVEN-B ASSY, Airframe, C-Code DDL RAVEN, P/N 62209, Qty: 3 RAVEN-B ASSY, Payload, Gimbal, Mantis 123, P/N 67828, Qty: 4 The Government intends to make an award by August 2017. The OEM is the only known source that meets the Government's requirement as it has proprietary rights for the Manufacture/Repair of the items. No technical data/drawings/Technical Orders are available. If a firm believes it is capable of meeting the Government's requirement, it may identify its interest and capability to the Contract Specialist within seven (7) days of this publication. Those interested firms must indicate whether they are a large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a) or women owned business and whether they are U.S. or foreign owned. Before consulting the Ombudsman concerned parties should first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendation to the Contracting Officer for resolution.
