The Massachusetts Trial Court, through the Office of Court Management, Facilities Management & Capital Planning, is soliciting bids for statewide preventive maintenance, inspection, operational testing, load-bank testing, repair, and emergency services for standby generators, automatic transfer switches, and uninterruptible power supply systems. The contract is structured into five independent regional award groups, with each region being awarded to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder. The initial performance period is 32 months, running from November 1, 2026, to June 30, 2029, with two optional one-year renewals available through June 30, 2031. Bidders must submit their response packages electronically via the COMMBUYS portal by September 30, 2026, including a bid deposit of at least 5 percent of the greatest possible bid amount per region. The U.S. Air Force is conducting market research to identify qualified vendors capable of repairing the Signal Generator with NSN 6150-01-385-8223KV and part number 717720650-039, which is part of the Power Supply Test Station. This requirement is part of a five-year repair strategy extending through FY31, with an estimated annual need of two units. The repair services sought involve specialized technical expertise to restore the signal generator to operational standards, and vendors must demonstrate proven experience with similar military-grade electronic test equipment. Although a load bank description is included, it appears to be unrelated contextual information and does not pertain to the actual repair scope. The effort is not a solicitation but a formal market research initiative under solicitation number FA8517-26-R-0560, with responses due by May 8, 2026. The primary point of contact is Latonya Jackson, and the place of performance is Warner Robins, Georgia, with the North American Industry Classification System code 811210 applying to the repair and maintenance of electronic equipment.

The electrical Load bank is A set (bank) of electrical elements that are passive (resistive, inductive, capacitive) or active (motors, batteries). They are usually located adjacent to each other to form a consolidated set of any of these elements or any combination of them. A load bank is used to replace distributed or dispersed load elements contained in a power distribution system or electrical network for the purpose of providing a concentrated load. A load bank contains all the essential electrical characteristics necessary to terminate the circuit and functions in the same manner as the load which it is intended to replace. This description necessarily includes a bank of light bulbs or cone heating elements where energy conversion is primarily in the form of heat although visible radiant energy is the natural result of incandescent heating. Load banks are intended to cover a specific range of characteristics and normally operate at dc or at power frequencies 50, 60, or 400 hz ac. Load banks may be uninstrumented or complete with integral instrumentation and may also be furnished as skid or trailer mounted. Excludes test set, electrical (as modified). see also dummy load, electrical.
