ENTERED 6/12/2024 REPAIR JP5 PRODUCT RECOVERY SYSTEM. See attached DWCF request. EBS# 10551008 (FY25_EMG_NCP_JP5 PROD RECOV SYS) 1. JP-5 system does not have a compliant UFC 03-460-01 Product Recovery Tank (PRT), system, or pump. 2. PRT extends beyond primary containment. 3. PRT pump is unable to overcome system pressure to pump down PRT when high-level reached. 4. Current PRT pump is tied to drain/venting lines as well as PRV downstream piping which disable the automatic pump during maintenance. 5. JP-5 system (including PRT) design schematics, flow diagrams, or drawings IAW UFC 3-460-01, para 2-17A . 6. JP-5 missing several thermal relief valves around system isolation points IAW UFC 03-460-01. Notional SOW. 1. Update current JP-5 blueprints and engineering drawings for entire system IAW UFC 3-460-01/03. 2. Redesign current JP-5 Product Recovery Tank (PRT), system and pump(s) to meet UFC 3-460-01, paragraph 8-3.14.2, design standards to include all required appurtenances. 3. Complete engineering analysis of all thermal expansion and pressure relief lines. 4. Extend JP-5 containment to encapsulate PRT or install spray shields on side and back of PRT to provide maximum protection in the event of PRT overfill. 5. Verify/Install thermal expansion around individual isolation valves IAW with UFC plate 20. 6. Receipt pump inlet Replace swing check valve with pressure relief valve or redirect discharge back to system vice Product Recovery Tank.
