REPAIR SERVICES FOR AN/USQ-140(V) SYSTEM This synopsis is issued in anticipation of SOL FA8539-11-R-30001. Government has a requirement for repair of multiple components as stated on the NSN Listing applicable to the AN/USQ-140 Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS). The requirement is to provide repair support of MIDS utilized on, but not limited to, the F-15, F-16, B-1B, B-2, JSS, Pocket J, JRE, THAAD, Patriot, CAOC, US Army and Foreign Military Sales. Acquisition will require establishment of in-plant MIDS support capability for non-warranty hardware to provide Intermediate (LRU-level) and Depot (SRU-level) repair services. The contractor shall also establish and maintain a second Intermediate repair capability with the 402 Maintenance Wing (402 MXW) at WR-ALC in accordance with current and future Workshare, Direct Sales and Implementation Agreements. Repair services for the AN/USQ-140(V) MIDS National Stock Numbers (NSNs) and quantities are listed on the attachment. Delivery Schedule: Turn Around Time shall be 45 calendar days for LRUs and SRUs, and 75 calendar days for sub-contractor items. Destination is Robins AFB. This effort is for a five-year effort, Basic Ordering Period and 4 Ordering Periods. The approximate RFP issue date will be 06 Feb 2012 with the approximate response date of 07 Mar 2012. RFP will be available at www.fedbizopps.gov only. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor will be acceptable. This is a limited source procurement per 10 USC 2304(c)(1) TO: Data Link Solutions (DLS), 350 Collins Rd. NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498-0001 and Cage: 081U3. Justification: Supplies (or services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Specifications, plans, or drawings related to this procurement are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered.
