Repair of Joint Service Electronic Combat System Testers

The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract, on a sole-source basis, to AAI Corporation, Hunt Valley, MD (CAGE: 97384) to provide services necessary to test, repair, calibrate and return the Joint Service Electronic Combat System Tester (JSECST) (NSN: 4920-01-461-6316) to operational condition and to ensure Fleet readiness. AAI Corporation is the only known source with the knowledge and technical data to provide repair services to the JSECST. AAI Corporation is the designer, developer and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the JSECST and retains all the proprietary/technical data rights required in order to perform approved and necessary repairs of the JSECST. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
