F3T2EM0197AQ01, Sole Source Acquisition for Repair of LPX160 X-Ray The 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC intends to award a sole source purchase order to Spellman High Voltage Electric Corporation. This procurement will be for the repair of one LORAD LPX-160 X-ray Apparatus Set at Seymour Johnson AFB, NC. APPLICABILITY OF AUTHORITY: This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Spellman High Voltage Electric Corporation is the exclusive manufacturer and only authorized repair facility for the LPX systems and components. On 31 May 2013, the Air Force issued Memorandum: Repair of X-ray apparatus Set, NSN 6635-01-417-1830, stating that these items will be repaired by an authorized manufacturer representative. Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The closing date for this synopsis is 7 August 2020 at 10:00 A.M EST.
