Market Survey/Sources Sought Replace Airfield Drainage System Scott Air Force Base, Illinois Synopsis: This is a SOURCES SOUGHT Notice for market research purposes only. Do not send proposals in response to this notice. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on Federal Business opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. The 375th Contracting Squadron is gathering information in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 to identify potential firms that have the skills, knowledge, and capabilities required to perform the following potential requirement: The purpose of this project is to upgrade and fix drainage deficiencies at the airfield at Scott AFB, IL. The current, original system is failing in multiple locations creating sinkholes and blockages. This project will replace or slipline all the deteriorated corrugated metal pipe (CMP) and backfill the sinkholes created by these old pipes. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 237990, Small Business Standard Size $33.5M and the magnitude of construction will be between $5M and $10M.
