Notice Of Intent To Sole Source: Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) Arnold AFB TN. intends to award a contract to ABB, Inc. 579 Executive Campus Drive, Westerville, OH 43082. The requirement is to purchase up to five (5) BRC410 Modbus TCP Interfaces manufactured by ABB which include BRC410 (Catalogue Number 2VAA002265R021), HGS 6.0 Operating License (Catalogue Number 2VAA002265R01), 1500 Modbus TCP License (Catalogue Number2VAA002265R063), and the Symphony Plus Product Software Package (Catalogue Number2VAA000739R02) including programming and installation services . These items will be added to the existing ABB Symphony/Harmony Distributed Control System (DCS) to interface with existing Bently Nevada 350Equipment. This synopsis is approved for a sole source contract action as authorized in Far 6.302-1 (supplies or services are considered to be available from one source). No solicitation package will be issued. However, all interested sources may identify their interest but must provide proof of capability to provide an acceptable product by submitting an accurate description of the equipment offered, make and model numbers of the equipment, pricing data, and warranties. Only responses containing this data will be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Award will not be made on the basis of responses received to this synopsis. If no favorable responses are received by 2:00 pm CST 15 Mar 14, a contract will be negotiated with the above named source.
