This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR FAC 2005-05. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and is issued as a Request for Quotation. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This is a firm-fixed price procurement and will be procured full and open. Solicitation Number is FA4486-10-T-0007 The NAICS code 423120 applies to this solicitation. The size standard is 500 Employees. The item description is as follows: CLIN 0001: (1 ea) Engine assembly, complete with block, heads, crank, camshaft, pistons, rings, bearings, gears, chain, belt, oil pump, oil and oil filter, spark plugs, oil pan, required gaskets, water pump, valve covers, thermostat, front cover, front seal, crank dampener, exhaust manifold gaskets, Ford or Equal. The engine must be a direct bolt in engine without requiring any modification to vehicle or engine. The vehicle is a 2009 Ford Explorer Sport Track.
