Replacement of a cooling unit This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Institution Regional Reception Center Trade agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid. Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest priced compliant bid. Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Aboriginal Suppliers. Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement. Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements. Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. The Correctional Service of Canada is looking for a general contractor for a project including the supply, labour, equipment and materials in order to perform the work as described in the specification. Objectives: The purpose of this project is to replace a cooling unit located in the Sainte-Anne des-Plaines complex at the Regional Reception Center Institution. Deliverables: The work consists of replacing the existing cooling unit located at the Regional Reception Center, Orientation sector, replacing the cooling coil connected to the cooling unit and replacing the refrigeration piping between the unit and the coil. There will be a mandatory site visit. (See detail bid solicitation document) Details about the site visit are contained in the bid solicitation document. Any conditions for participation of suppliers not specified in solicitation documentation: none. Estimated quantity of commodity: see solicitation document statement of work and basis of payment.
