TWO PHASE SELECTION PROCESSThis is the first phase (Phase 1) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all bidders; second phase (Phase 2) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Upon award of contract in Phase Two the pre-qualification list will be terminated, no additional contracts will be awarded. PROJECT DESCRIPTIONThe work under this contract consists of the construction of one (1) concrete foundation. In addition, the Contractor shall dismantle the old steel structure and demolish the old foundation. The whole shall be disposed of in an appropriate manner.The structure of Pointe Saint-Nicolas FR is a 4'x4' tower with a height of forty-five feet (45').More specifically, the work is summarized, but not limited to, the following:Mobilization, demobilization and support during construction;Installation of temporary protective fencing to secure the excavations and work site;Disconnection of existing power supply;Recovery of existing electrical installations;Dismantling, demolition and disposal of the existing tower and reinforced concrete foundations;Construction of one (1) new reinforced concrete foundationInstallation of grounding systemsSite clean-up and restoration, including laying of new peatThe Contractor must perform and complete the Work by June 16th, 2023. All work may not commence before April 1st, 2023.
