Replacement of Trim, Soffits and Fascia

The scope of work required under this request includes Replacement of Roof Trims, Soffits and Fascia at Kathleen Ave Units in Sarnia, ON. Work must commence and be completed in accordance with the schedule provided. Bidders must view the attached drawing typical for Kathleen Ave Units and supplypricing of the work to be completed at the locations listed below on the form of tender.Work must be completed in accordance with the schedule provided. The successfulcontractor will be responsible for providing written notice to each tenant of the work. Notices must be provided with a minimum of 48 hours' notice. It is extremely important that dates provided within notices be honoured. Once work commences, the County requires that the project be worked on continuouslyuntil complete. No lapse or interval will be allowed.On occasion other related work will be required. The County will whenever possible request that the successful contractor complete the work on a time and materials basis utilizing the hourly rates provided on the form of tender. Hourly rates must include all associated expenses such as tools, trucks, etc. No additional costs beyond the hourly rate such as fuel surcharges or other expenses will be allowed or considered.Remove and dispose of the existing metal ridge vents and cap along with any foam closure. Supply and install new "rapid ridge roll vent" complete with new 26 gauge metal ridge cap complete with ventedfoam closures as per drawing.Remove existing gable end trims and replace with new 26 gauge steel trims as per drawings.Remove existing metal soffit/ fascia and replace with new 26 gauge steel trims and soffits as per drawings.Rework existing vinyl siding carefully as required to complete the installation of the soffits, trims, fascias andgable flashings. Report any damaged siding, rotten substrate, or other items of concern to the County of Lambton. Remove carefully and reinstall gutters and downspouts as required to permit installation of new sheet metalflashings. Report any damaged gutters or downspouts to the County of Lambton prior to reinstalling. Supply and install new wood blocking/backing as required to suit new trim profiles. Contractor to site verify ALL dimensions of trims prior to fabrication. Refer to drawings and notes for additional project information.
